The Municipality of Lousada is an institution of local public administration. The council of Lousada belongs to the district of Porto and covers an area of 95 km². The town is located in the center of the region known as Vale do Sousa. It has approximately 50.000 inhabitants in the 25 parishes of Lousada.

BioLiving is an award-winning non-profit NGO and its motto is "Nature and Education for All". Its objectives are, among others, the promotion of sustainability through the engagement in environmental citizenship and public participation for the protection of nature while boosting the social economy and fostering inclusion, peace and solidarity, using education, natural resources and nature conservation.

Leave No Trace is an Outdoor Ethics Education Programme designed to promote and inspire responsible outdoor recreation through education, research and partnerships.

As increasing numbers of people seek the beauty and exhilaration of outdoor travel and recreation, our collective mark on the environment and its natural processes increases. Litter, water pollution, disturbance of vegetation, wildlife, livestock and other people are all indicators of the need to develop a national ethic that protects both natural and cultural heritage.

The CESEFOR foundation is a non-profit private organization contributing to the integral development of the forestry sector through research, innovation and promoting sustainability in all production areas, giving priority to the conservation of natural resources. Its end users within this project are the Castile and León NGOs and Foundations and the national ones. CESEFOR is stressing the effort on Environment, Forestry, Biodiversity and Rural Development organizations.

Play Solutions Audiovisuais is an audiovisual producer documentaries, institutional and corporate films, news reports, television programs and viral videos. Mainly involved in the dissemination of science and technology, education, tourism, nature and biodiversity, it also develops projects in other areas and has valuable audiovisual experience in image capturing (HD images and 4K UHD, slow motion HD, aerial images and multi-camera recording), video post-production and sound design.

E.N.T.E.R., the European Network for Transfer and Exploitation of EU project Results, was founded in 2005 with the goal of providing a platform for exchange at the European level and beyond. Its main focus lies on exploiting and disseminating EU project results and on creating a platform for developing project teams, distributing information and assisting stakeholders in actively promoting their projects across the continent.

The Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) was established in 1920 and is the third oldest Higher Education Institution in Greece. Its Research Center (RC-AUEB), a non-profit organization directed by the Deputy Rector for Economic Affairs, carries out theoretical and applied research within its areas of expertise, namely economics, business and informatics. Throughout the years the RC-AUEB reports an excellent performance.
