For two days in February (22-23 February 2018), the city of Lisbon and the audiovisual video producer PlaySolutions Audiovisuais hosted the second partner meeting of the NGEurope project, financed by the Erasmus+ program.
NGEurope represents a relevant contribution to the EU horizontal priorities of improving relevant and high-level basic and transversal competences of EU citizens in the scope of adult education and under the perspective of lifelong learning, as it aims at capacitating new leaders for change engagement, improving entrepreneurship, foreign language competences, and digital skills as well as fostering employability, socio-educational and professional development – all through NGOs actions.
In order to achieve these aims, organizations of five EU countries - Portugal (CMLousada, Bioliving and PlaySolutions), Austria (ENTER), Greece (AUEB), Ireland (Leave No Trace) and Spain (CESEFOR) - act as partners, contributing their different and complementary skills to the project work.
In this second meeting, representatives of the partner organisations discussed several topics and planned the next actions to be taken in the project. These include: the development of an introduction to pedagogy for NGO staff, an NGO leadership training course, project branding solutions, an online platform and observatory, an engagement toolkit, dissemination and exploitation strategy and tools.
The third partner meeting will take place in Greece in November 2018.
