Fundación Aldaba- Proyecto Hombre (FA-PH) is a private non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the health and well-being of people at risk of exclusion and/or special vulnerability, covering the adult population, children and young people. Special attention is given to people affected by drug dependence and other addictions, as well as its prevention.

The Zaragoza Knowledge City Foundation was constituted in 2004 at the initiative of Zaragoza City Council as a public-private project to promote the development of the Knowledge Society and the Digital Mile. Its usual fields of action are the promotion of technology-based projects, education in creative technologies, dissemination of the culture of science and technology, and creativity associated with the interaction of art, science and technology. Currently, in addition to the City Council itself, the following are patrons: Fundación La Obra Social de Ibercaja; Universidad de Zaragoza and Universidad San Jorge; and Aurelia Modrego from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Carmen Ascaso, researcher at the Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, Diego Gutierrez, Professor at the University of Zaragoza, and the writer and theoretician Remedios Zafra from the University of Seville. The president of the Board of Trustees is the mayor of Zaragoza, Pedro Santisteve Roche. Since its creation, most of the funding for the Foundation's activities has come from private sources.

The Foundation for Research in Ethology and Biodiversity (FIEB) is a non-profit organisation whose main mission is the protection of biodiversity based on three fundamental pillars: science, innovation and rigour. The European Association against Leukodystrophy - ELA Spain, brings together families affected by leukodystrophies. ELA Spain provides them with social and health assistance as well as raising public awareness about these orphan genetic diseases. The association initiates various actions in order to raise funds for medical research and help families. Since its creation, ELA has financed more than 500 medical research programmes, worth more than 43.5 million euros. More than ever, it aims to bring families and researchers together across Europe.

The Foundation seeks to centralize, capture and channel more economic resources in order to create new services and improve existing ones, in the care of the mentally ill and their families. Its objective is to promote programmes that facilitate the well-being, protection, assistance and psychosocial reintegration of people with mental illness.

The Global Nature Foundation is a private entity of national scope and educational charitable character, constituted in 1993 and registered in the Registry of Foundations of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Environment with the number 280032. Our foundational aims are the conservation, protection and management of the environment. The projects we develop contribute to the maintenance and recovery of habitats and endangered species, technological innovation and the recovery of traditional agricultural activities. As an educational charitable foundation, the projects have a good part of environmental education, through courses, seminars, conferences, youth exchanges, work camps and the edition of research works. It is also registered in the AECID Register of Non-Governmental Development Organizations for international cooperation in sustainable development and the promotion of integral, participatory human development that respects the protection of the environment, the social and economic development models of other peoples and their cultural particularities.

COPADE (Comercio Para el Desarrollo/Commerce for Development) is an NGO oriented to promotion of Fair Trade and improving livelihoods of communities involved with sustainable timber + food products.
