The principal activity is the promotion of the reduction of food waste and to alleviate food poverty by providing a facility for food related businesses to redirect surplus food from disposal to non-profit organisations.
OUR MISSION: To transform surplus food into opportunities to make the world a kinder place. We will achieve our main mission by achieving our mini missions: • Redistribute surplus food, thereby reducing food waste • Create opportunities for social inclusion through this redistributed food • Inspire communities to take local action, the ripple effect of which will result in global change

FoodCloud and FoodCloud Hubs aims to redistribute 25% of Ireland’s surplus food by 2030. To increase food redistributed in the UK by 10% each year through partnership with FareShare. To expand technology licensing pilots that were established in 2018 in Australia, Poland and Czech Republic, and establish one additional pilot.
Yes Since 2014, we’ve worked with more than 3,000 stores and our technology has enabled a community of over 9,000 charities across Ireland and the UK to access good food and create long-lasting, local relationships, tackling food waste whilst creating greater social inclusion.
